The only place where Lord Ganesha appeared in his most natural form without any ornaments or any sculpt features. The shrine is most unique one which the lord murthi was still in the small well which was found for the first time. Devotees can see the Lords complete Mangal Murthi with water during Nijarupa Darshan.
Kanipakam Temple operates two trusts with the funds received in Hundi of Vinayaka Swamy. Sri Siddhi vinayaka Go Samrakshana Trust & Sri Vinayaka Nityannadana Trust. These two bodies offers shelter for cattle & free food for devotees who visit kanipakam.
Legend Of Kanipakam temple – Sri Vinayaka Swamy (Lord Ganesh):
Around 1000 Years ago in the current place of Kanipakam Temple there is an Agricultural Land belonged to three Physically Challenged Borthers. One is deaf, One is Blind and other is Mute. All of them combined to start irrigating the Land for their next crop. One of the brother is trying to remove the boulders in the well, he heard a distinct sound of the plough. A thick red blood type secretion is observed on the stone. Once the brothers tried to touch the stone for stopping it, their ailments are cured. The people of village are surprised to know about their miraculous recovery. Reaching near the land where they are tilting, up on uncovering the stone, Lord Ganesh murthi figure was observed in his primal & natural form. Devotees started to praying the lord ganesha by continuous breaking of loads and loads of coconuts. The water from the coconuts have spread over a Kani land (Kani means 1/10th of an acre). So the shrine was called as Kaniparakam. Lord Ganesha stone was not fully recovered when they started to dig the well. So devotees have installed and constructed the Inner temple around the well itself.

Special Entry Darshan (Seegra Darshan), Nijarupa Darshanam (Seeing the feet & well of Lord Ganesha) starts from 06:00 AM every day till 10:00 PM based on availability.
Typical crowd here is mainly on weekends, wednesday & Ganesh Navaratri Times.
Temple Closing in Afternoon is 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM every day.
Temple is closed on all Eclipses according to Indian Calendar dates & Timings.
Ganapati Homam everyday starts @ 10:00 AM first batch.

Tourists and Pilgrims require to login with their mobile number for tickets booking. Select Online Booking option in main menu and verity your mobile number with OTP.
After logging into your account, Choose Darshan or Pratyaksha Seva option. Select any one of your required things and select number of tickets you require. Choose the Time slot you want for specific tickets & Fill the devotee details like Name, Age, Gender, Address, Identity Proof details etc. If any person do not have a registered account with Kanipakam Devasthanam website, select Sign up button.
Give communication details like Email address & other things for instant Tickets delivery. You must visit the temple with the copies of tickets as mobile devices are not allowed into temple.
The temple currently do not operate any accommodation guest houses for advance booking. But number of private Hotels, Arya Vysya Satrams are available to book Stay in Kanipakam village.
